From Apprentice to Industry Expert. Ian Rice began his career with an apprenticeship at British Gas, earning both a City & Guilds qualification and a BTEC HNC in gas engineering. In 1986, he joined Vaillant, where he received specialist training at their factory in Remscheid, Germany. After nine successful years with Vaillant, Ian founded GasTech—an approved Vaillant Service Agency—bringing his deep expertise and commitment to quality directly to customers.
